Steve mentions a talk with his dad and how excited he is about internet marketing and how his father guides him into controlling your own destiny.

 The topic then turns to how difficult it can be to make money online and then he outlines the goals of the Niche Blueprint program.

There is some dialogue about exactly how much you would need to quit your job.  He then give an example of a bird cage business that has $5-6000 in profit every month.  Steve claims that anyone can do this.

I meet Tim and Steve in Orlando a few months ago. They are both nice guys. Tim and Steve complement each other. Steve ranted about how great Tim’s copywriting skills were and when you see his sales letter on launch day you’ll understand why. During the conference we were at Tim and Steve always used their time carefully - whenever there was a break they were talking business with each other and how they had to get xyz done in a t-1 timeframe.

I specifically remember how concerned that even though they were at a conference that they had to get the monthly material out to their monthly members. They also were talking about a secret project and were very excited about it. Now I know why. It was likely Niche Blueprint. What I know about Steve and Tim is from personal experience and they are definitely the real deal.

He is truly awesome at supporting his products. I’ve met Steve and Tim and they are both great guys. Hard working and always scheming (in a good way of course).

Some Background

I love e-commerce and the idea of selling actual products. There is so much that’s great about it. You control the price, there is no google quality score to ever worry about (if you choose to do PPC for traffic), it’s relatively easy to drive traffic with SEO (if you do the research correctly), there’s no arguing with Google about wether you’re an affiliate and trying to do a bridge page, you don’t have to write a "sales page", you can make use of templates for the web site so you don’t have to design one from scratch, you can easily outsource the operation of the store (assuming drop-shipping), you can sell the site, it’s a "real business" that has a bit more "security" than traditional affiliate marketing arbitrage opportunities, if you have the right software and training…you can set up a site in an hour and you can be testing a store with only a $10 investment (the domain name)!, the list just goes on and on.

The downsides have been figuring out what to sell so you’re risking just a little bit of your time and energy on something that’s likely to succeed (similar to the commission blueprint model of only starting on something that has a decent chance for success), finding drop ship suppliers (no one wants to deal with inventory and shipping issues), finding the right e-commerce store software so you can try these out quickly and cheaply, setting up the shopping cart, and getting traffic to the store through SEO.

How we got here

A year or so ago, I met up with two brothers that have been building these kinds of stores, making great money, and selling them off…I saw them on Fox news, and they were in a great article in the NY Times. I ended up buying a site from them, that I still run today…makes a REALLY nice profit each month. It became the model for several more that we have now too (which also make a REALLY nice profit!!). We also became friends.

These guys are completely unknown in the Internet marketing arena (much like Tim and me a year ago!), and their expertise is not really in traditional IM and traffic generation…BUT…boy do they know the formula for finding these niches for the stores, finding suppliers, and setting up the sites/software. When we started working together, I knew that the perfect product would be a combination of their skills along with our knowledge of general Internet marketing. For example…they were BLOWN away by market samurai…what used to take them days…took 20 minutes!

Course Timeline
